The White Rim Calling all diesel engines for a 1-day rip of Moab's iconic ultra-distance route, guided by Brian and Justin. Friday April 3rd. The White Rim Trail in Canyonlands National Park, near Moab, Utah, is a spectacular 100-mile, 4WD dirt road loop offering stunning views of canyon country. 100% of the route is rideable for intermediate or better riders. While it is not technical riding it is a demanding challenge. Riders must be self-sufficient with basic repair kits, understand the importance of consistent hydration and nutrition, and be willing to work hard when the going’s tough. How do you ensure your success? Have local Moab-ite B. Elander and Justin be your guides. The list of iconic 100-mile routes in the US is not long. Every list includes this route. Be prepared for a desert day logged into your bucket list memory bank. Oh, and the challenge? Don’t worry. We’ve got your back. You will not be left to battle the desert alone. Pickup/Dropoff Location: DtD Guide Brian's House in Moab. 371 Marcus Ct. Route Start/Finish Location: Gemini Bridges Rd. Parking Area Required Gear: XCMTB, 3.3L+ hydration carrying capacity, repair kit, calories for 10 hrs of riding, and grit. Must be at the Pickup Location, ride ready, no later than 7AM the morning of Friday April 3rd. DtD Shuttle transport available to GJT Airport on Saturday April 4.
