Our first visit to Peru for the MPE was about racing. What we experienced was so much more than a race. We left feeling like we not only were able to compete as bike racers but we could travel as tourists and dine like locals. This race combines cultural experiences, customary Peruvian cuisine, and exceptional mountain biking routes into a whimsical package. A trip only accomplished in the Sacred Valley. A race only won after reaching the gates to Machu Picchu. If you like bike riding and traveling and cultural experiences and being treated to an insider’s route through a beautiful country then this is your event. 2026 will be our 3rd time heading to Peru for this event. Our strong relationship with this race means we are treated like family once in Peru. Upon arrival to the race venue everything is included. Lodging, food, mechanics, bike wash, race gear, and more. *In-country transportation, security, and support prearranged. *Standard or Premium Hotel Accommodations available. *Single and Double Occupancy options for racers and non-racers.
