Colorado Trail (E to W)

Service Description

MTB the entire Colorado Trail from Denver to Durango without the headache of bikepacking. Your day starts with a hot breakfast and ends with a dinner buffet at a complete lodging site. All you have to do is ride the miles in between! DtD will transport your camp bag, provide a recovery center at the day's terminus, and ensure you get through the day's trail ride. You'll ride the MTB trail segments only, shuttling around the Wilderness Area detours. Just you, the trail, the support you'll want, and fellow MTB Adventurers! Cover over 330 miles and 56,000' of elevation gain (and MORE descent!) as you experience the single greatest MTB treasure in Colorado. The Trail. The CT. The adventure! The Support: The Food - we will provide Breakfast and Dinner Day 2-7. We will provide Dinner on Day 1 and Breakfast on Day 8. Please reply with any dietary restrictions (real restrictions, not preferences, trust us - it'll be tasty). Water - we will be transporting ample water for your camp experience and to load your day's ride needs. That said, if you happen upon a water source on course (they will be highlighted by your on-trail guide) load up! You can't have too much water on this adventure. Camp - your lodging will be set up each day. Your individual space includes: an oversized stretcher cot, your travel duffle, and bedding. Shared Comforts - 2 zero-gravity loungers with Normatec Compression Boots, 2 Theraguns, Fire Pit, and camp chairs. Power - we will have 2 large battery banks, a generator with power strip, and a camper van with additional power. You'll be charged! Logistics: July 25 - plan to be dropped off at Waterton Canyon in advance of our start. Long-term parking at Waterton can be problematic so getting dropped off (or having your car picked up in the next day or 2) is best. If traveling from out of state and staying with DtD the night of the 24th, you are covered. Aug 1 - we finish in Durango. Plan A is to stay in Durango for the night, at Pagosa Hot Springs, and drive back on 8/2. If you have made (or plan to make) alternate plans for an extended stay at the finish and do not need the shuttle back to Denver please let us know. For those flying, you can book a flight as early as the evening of 8/1 (no sooner than 6PM) or on 8/2 AM. Your trip fee includes your spot on the shuttle home. Please make arrangements to be picked up from Waterton. Please request a BRINGS LIST via the contact page or by email.
