Service Description

3 days and 2 nights under the star-filled dark skies. 3 gravel routes that will inspire the frontiersman in you. 3 rides to be sure your winter riding stays swift, not just Zwift. We'll get lost in the desert along the US/Mexico border. We'll roll into Tombstone like the Earps. And each night we'll saddle our steeds at a fully-stocked campsite trading stories and watching embers from our campfire join the tapestry above. Estimated Mileage: 230 miles over the 3 routes. Day 1: A Ghostly Ride to Camp Straight off the plane make your way through the desert and past Alto Ghost Town on your way to basecamp in Patagonia, AZ. Mileage: 66.6 Elevation Gain: 4,868' % Gravel: 64 Strava Link: https://www.strava.com/routes/3269295001862001998 Day 2: Spirit World 100 Tiptoe the line separating the US and Mexico. Stare off into a vast wonderland and deep canyons and listen to whisper of desert spirits... Mileage: 101 Elevation Gain: 7,471' % Gravel: 87 Strava Link: https://www.strava.com/routes/3269062481295694158 Day 3: Tombstone With the sun setting on our 3 days in the desert there's no better watering hole than the old haunts in Tombstone. Pick your poison: coffee at the Undertakers Bar or something with a bit more kick at Tombstone Brewing Co. Either way you've got the day to get your tired horse to the hitching post. Warm showers, toilets, fire circles, drinking water, Normatec Compression Legs w/loungers, WIFI, device recharging station, and outdoor kitchen. • "What's included in my registration?" Curated routes and on-route guide, swag bag including rider nutrition/treats/recovery tools, bike bag and gear transport to/from camp, fully-stocked camp with daily breakfast and dinner, return transfer to airport, 2 nights lodging at DtD Camp at Terra Sol, and bike mechanic and wash station. • "When do I need to arrive?" Riders must be at TUS Airport by 10AM on Friday January 24th to begin the Day 1 route. • "When can I schedule my return?" DtD will shuttle riders back to TUS Airport after the Day 3 route from Tombstone by 6PM. You can schedule a flight for Sunday PM or reserve accommodations for a Monday departure.
